What Can You Do to Help?
1. The most important people to reach are the leaders of the Congressional Appropriation Committees and House Rules Committee, and your representatives in Congress.
2. Send a letter by postal mail. Email is regarded as quick-and-dirty and a regular letter that was mailed will have a much greater impact.
3. Forward this message to all like-minded individuals to maximize the response. An overwhelming outcry from the all corners of the conservation community is essential.
4. Feel free to express your disappointment and dismay, but please communicate your concerns thoughtfully and constructively (inflammatory or sensational statements will not help).
5. Voice your concerns to all of the individuals listed below, including the representatives from your home state.
